    Bio .

I was introduced to golf by my father at 3 years old in Singapore , and took to golf quite quickly .

First started competing in junior tournaments at the age of 10 , while growing up in Papua New Guinea, where in 1981

( Yep a while ago ) I won the PNG Junior National title at the age of 17 in a playoff .

I Commenced my PGA Traineeship at Coolangatta Golf Club , June 1981 , had some success playing, winning the Gatton Jubilee trainee ProAm and the Qld PGA Trainee Foursomes Championships.

Became a full time Member of the Australian PGA in 1984. From 1985 thru 1989 , played pretty much full time on the Australasian PGA Tour with some minor success.

I had wins in Gaynda and Mackay on the Qld ProAm Circuit, along with a few wins in Victoria including the Whitlesea ProAm and the Western Open at Kooringal Golf Club .

However 2 of my most satisfying playing achievements came winning the Australian Holden Scramble Finals with my team from Ashgrove at Royal Pines GC

And , winning The Retire Australia Ashgrove PGA Legends ProAm in 2018 .

I was appointed Resident Professional at Proserpine Golf Club in 1990 , and then in 1993 moved to Victoria for a few years where I was appointed as Professional at Kilmore

GolfClub , and then moving on to Rosanna Golf Club in Melbourne eastern suburbs in 1995, where I remained for about 5 years .

With both Mine and my wife Simones family located back in Qld , the opportunity to move back home arrived when I was offered the position of Golf Professional here at the Ashgrove Golf Club

In 1999 , where I have had an amazing association with our club members, and continue to have a fantastic relationship with our golf club community .
